The job:

These roles are part of our exciting Technology Transformation project and will take on development work for this alongside RedDev changes, Product maintenance and CI or Support.

This role requires you to be able to build good working relationships with colleagues and demonstrate a strong customer focus and good communication skills. Joining a team of circa 30 people working on our current portfolio you will work closely with testers and Business Change.

What you will do:

Reporting in to one of our Lead Developers, you will be responsible for:

– Working as part of a team of developers, ensuring team deliverables are on time and fit for purpose.

– Taking personal responsibility for completion of IBO’s

– Providing development support to colleagues and third parties to deliver on Society objectives to timescales

– Ensuring that code and peer reviews are undertaken

– Actively seeking out opportunities to improve our systems or how we use technical solutions to improve organisational performance, e.g. language, tool, processes.

– Providing warranty support for releases

What we are looking for:

We are looking for experienced developers to with strong knowledge and experience of development with the Microsoft .Net Framework. Good C#.NET/ASP.NET development skills and experience with Visual Studio

2008/2010/2013. The ability to manage multiple environments (Dev, Test, Live) is essential and we would be keen to speak to people who have previous experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
